HISTORY: SOCIETA ITALIANA SERVIZI AEREI (S.I.S.A.) was an Italian airline founded in the early 1920s. Also active in the formation of seaplane pilots was the first passenger air transport company to be established on Italian territory and the first to carry regular scheduled flights. In 1934 SISA merged with Societa Aerea Mediterranea (SAM), Societa Anonima Navigazione Aerea (SANA) and Aero Espresso Italiana (AEI) to formed the new airline with name Ala Littoria.
