HISTORY: AEROTAXI or Avianca Aerotaxi was a Colombian airline subsidiary of Avianca that operated under a non-scheduled modality. It was founded in 1948 with the initiative of providing service to the most remote communities in the country. Due to competition with other airlines, several routes were suspended and then Avianca decided to liquidate the company. To do this, personnel and aircraft were transferred to other regional companies. The liquidation of Aerotaxi ended in 1974
