HISTORY: TRANSBRASIL was formed in 1955 as Sedia S.A. Transportes Aereos and in 1972 changed the name to Transbrasil S/A Linhas Aereas and its headquarters were moved to Brasilia. In 2010, the debt which caused the bankruptcy of Transbrasil was invalidated by the Court of Justice of Sao Paolo.
